The Church has made this world better

Wherever the Gospel is preached, it is a certain, verifiable fact that the society is improved: economically, morally, relationally, academically, socially, and of course, spiritually.

I am always perplexed when pseudo intellectuals start spouting their doctrine about "all the damage the Church has done to the world"... They cite the Crusade wars, oppression, etc. as they point their fingers at the Church. But if you were actually going to study reality, you would see that, while the Church is certainly not innocent, the Church has done a remarkable service to this world. God has used His people to BE A BLESSING, and that's just something you can't take away.

Look at these lyrics from the band "Newsboys" in the song "Wherever we go":
Wherever we go, the dumb get wise
And the crime rates drop and the markets rise
It’s a curious thing
But it’s just our thing

Bullies make nice, crooks repent
And the ozone layer shows improvement
It’s a curious thing
And it’s humbling

Wherever we’re led
All the Living Dead
Wanna leave their Zombie Minds
It’s a touching scene when they all come clean
God help us, we just love our job

Hands up
Holler back here
Let’s throw this party in gear
We brought the welcome mat
Wherever we go, that’s where the party’s at

Hands up
Holler back now
We don’t claim any know-how
We’re giving God all that
Wherever we go, that’s where the party’s at

That's just a partial listing of the lyrics. The song is amazing and I'm so thankful that the light of God's truth shines through the darkness of lies in this song.
